Blue Water Waterski Club UK

Blue Water Waterski Club is an affiliated British Water Ski Club operating from various sites in the West Midlands.

Generally the main site will be at Dosthill, Tamworth. This site has a new large log cabin clubhouse with hot showers, toilets, and wetsuit area, plus a bar and restaurant.

We have arranged skiing with other sites to suit your location.

This site is able to run 3 club boats at one time when required and has a resident Senior Coach. I am myself a Coach, which is one level up from instructor.

There is no membership fee for joining Blue Water except for British Water Ski membership which is required after two visits. The club has been set up to encourage people to Water Ski without the burden of finding initial membership costs for the year. To ski you just have to ring either myself or Val or Keith Knox to book your slot. Skiing takes place at Tamworth 7 days a week, April to October, during all daylight hours. The site is presently having a new log cabin clubhouse built so portacabins are being used for clubhouse and changing/shower facilities.

Kids Coaching Club

Kids Coaching Club ( K.C.C. ) has been specially formulated by British Water Ski to encourage children under 16 to progress their Water Skiing abilities. Children will be able to gain rainbow badges as their skills improve and a record of this will be entered into their achievement book.

Membership and skiing details.

No membership fee except for British Water Ski membership which must be paid for after two visits. Please note existing members of British Water Ski Clubs or Direct members are not required to re-register membership. This is a standard club requirement.

British Water Ski Membership Fees

• Family £53
• 1 Parent + 1 child £42.50
• Single member £31.50
• Student / Junior £ 11

Notes :

Student membership is someone in full time education.

Family membership consists of 2 parents or 2 partners and their children.

A junior member is someone under the age of 18 years on 1st January.

Blue Water Skiing Fees

• 15 min session on water time - £17.50 inc. VAT

Club facilities

• Changing / shower facilities
• Table and chair cafe style area with light snacks and soft drinks
• Pro shop for ski equipment purchase
• Outside grassed areas with picnic tables and barbecue

Blue Water membership benefits

• Membership of British Water Ski with its associated benefits i.e. personal insurance cover of £35000 while water skiing and travelling to Waterski sites
